Charmaine Corcoran was engaged to take the reins of a busy client’s home renovation. This included developing the design concept, sourcing and purchasing textiles, wallpapers and furniture, sourcing and interviewing trades, project managing the build and styling of the completed spaces – three outdoor courtyards, three bedrooms including new built in wardrobes, a home office, living room, dining room and bathrooms.

“When I have watched those home makeover shows on TV I have often envied the results at the ‘big reveal’. Well three weeks away on holiday and an early morning flight in to Sydney we headed home to just that! Wind back a couple of months.

Charmaine took time to understand our lifestyle and taste and worked up a briefing document that encompassed both styling mood boards and also identified a few key pieces for each room. She shortlisted carpet, wall coverings, window treatments and fabrics, outdoor tiling and furniture. That made the process so much easier – no need to traipse around shops all weekend! We made most of the selections but felt comfortable leaving decisions on other decorating items to Charmaine.

Charmaine not only handled all the design elements but managed to source and project manage the various Tradies. We were kept updated with costs throughout. We couldn’t have been happier with the outcome – love it!”
