Charmaine led many projects for Optus during her time at Brand Marketing Agency Creative Activation, such as:

  • Attracting shoppers attention to the PrePaid category in discount department stores such as Big W & Kmart
  • Developing the knowledge & skills set of the Small to Medium Business team
  • Cleaning up visual clutter and developing a messaging strategy for the Generation 3 and Generation 4 retail stores

Most of this work was concerned with developing and delivering visual innovation to disrupt, entice, educate and convert shoppers across many retail formats.
We also led a national introduction of devices that required the Visual Merchandising team to install POS, use a cordless drill to drill into fixtures then screw in security devices, install the handsets and test alarm systems before they left the stores. This project was successfully completed to the delight of the Optus team, who said it ‘couldn’t be done’.
